LED/TV Backlight Inverter Protection Remove Methods

When there is a slight issue with the led backlights during LCD/LED TV repair or fault diagnostics, LED TV backlight driver board circuit bypassing is required. Each led backlight driver ic contains a built-in protection circuit that can bypass the problem and keep the lights on. The various LED TV Backlight Driver ICs protection or bypassing methods listed below are provided solely for the purpose of testing and easy troubleshooting.

Permanent bypassing may cause the led television backlights to burn out or the circuit to malfunction. Only skilled technicians should bypass the led tv inverter board circuit, and the bypassing process outlined below is for instructional reasons only.

If you are not technical, do not attempt to bypass the board or fool with it. Note: For a smooth working/operation of the LCD/LED TV, it is critical to restore the protection of the backlight driver circuit after a successful repair. To remove or disable the protection, you should first download the datasheet for the drive ic and then locate the signal pin that needs to be bypassed.
