Blinking Codes for LCD/LED & PLASMA TVs. In some TV brands, the auto diagnostic mechanism is known as blink codes. The amount of times the standby led light blinks can inform us which part of the TV is malfunctioning. When a system detects a defect in any part of the television, it automatically switches it to standby/protection mode and displays the blinking. The information regarding LCD/LED & PLASMA TV Blinking Codes is provided below.

Sony TV Blinking Codes
Varied models may have different behavior when it comes to following blinking codes. If the device doesn’t blink, it’s dead. The Power Supply should be checked using VDR and Fuse. In Jungle IC, there is a problem with continuous blinking. There is a breakdown in communication.

Panasonic TV Blinking Codes
One, Time Blinking, Errors
A single blink of the power LED indicates an issue with the LCD panel’s inverter circuit. It is not possible to repair the inverter board in the field. As a result, a replacement is needed.
Three, Time Blinking, Errors
An over-current or over-voltage situation in one of the AP board’s DC supplies is indicated by three blinks of the power LED. The AP board can be repaired. As a result, determining the cause of the shutdown requires the use of an ohmmeter and a peak-hold voltmeter. An over-voltage condition is most often a sign of a problem with the AP board. A short circuit in the AP board, A board, or LCD screen could cause an over-current issue.
4Th, Six, Time Blinking, Errors
The AP board is responsible for four or six-power LED blinks. The AP board generates the DTV9V and SUB 5V sources. When the MPU IC1100 is connected to AC power, it checks for its presence. Their absence could potentially be due to a short or open circuit on the A board.
5, 7, 8, Time Blinking, Errors
The A board is in charge of the power LED blinking five, seven, or eight times. The A board produces the MAIN +3.3V, MAIN +5V, and MAIN +9V sources. The MPU’s detecting input pins, IC1100, keep track of their presence.
9Th, Time Blinking, Errors
A short circuit in the unit’s audio output circuit (s) causes nine blinks of the power LED. The Aboard houses the audio output circuit. Confirm that the speakers are in good standing. Replace the item if it is defective. Replace the A, board if everything seems good.
10Th, Time Blinking, Errors
A problem with the frame converter, IC4200, is indicated by ten blinks of the power LED. This IC is located on the Aboard. As a result, ten blinks of the power LED need the A board’s replacement.
